The numerical modelling of physical phenomena is a progressing discipline in the industrial world, because it allows to reduce manufacturing span time and labour costs, to improve the products quality and to optimise the processes.
The numerical tools coming from the research laboratories are very well-known in the research and development centres of the main industrial groups, but still not enough known in the design departments of medium and small size companies.
In many cases the offered software require multiple technical skill : computer science - applied mathematics - physics.
The complete modelling of an industrial process uses a large and complex panel of numerical models in many physical fields.
